In 2017, the flagship long-term CSR project of ZAGORKA – Zagorka Green Fund, focused upon significant environmental projects. This time, together with the topic of water and energy efficiency, the format of the Fund enhanced also a wider specter of projects related to innovations and sustainable city environment. KEG and ZAGORKA worked in support of initiatives for innovations and green cities and took part in the Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together initiative. Zagorka Green Fund also supported various organizations assisting green ideas and solutions given by young active people, as well as initiatives which raise awareness about the topic of environmental protection. Among the attracted partners were Cleantech Bulgaria and Climate-KIC Accelerator – the only EU accelerator program, encouraging development of innovative green ideas which tackle climate change issues.
